Children’s Spring nature hunt
Spring is upon us and as always it’s a great time of year to head outside with the little ones. What better way to embrace to new season then with a springtime scavenger hunt.
Going for a walk to the park or along the local footpaths in your area is a great way to share an activity with children and to encourage them to take an interest in the world around them.
The idea of a springtime scavenger hunt is that the children can take charge. They will feel a sense of achievement as they discover all the wonderful things that nature has to offer.
Hunting high and low
Going on a nature hunt with children is a brilliant way to connect them to nature early on in their lives. There are huge health benefitits to being out in nature, which you can read here.
Therefore introducing nature to children from a young age can have a wonderful benefit to their mental health and wellbeing.
